Top Ten Non-Scary Halloween Movies

I absolutely love Halloween. I love the pumpkins, and the spooky decorations, and the candy. When I was a kid I loved dressing up in the most creative costume I could think of and venturing out into the neighborhood to trick-or-treat with my dad and sister. And as an adult, I love staying in to pass out candy and see all the little kids dressed up in costume (last year at my friend’s house it was “take a shot for every Elsa!”).

This remains my favorite halloween costume of all time.

My Robin Hood outfit remains my favorite halloween costume of all time.

But, as much as I love Halloween, I absolutely hate horror movies. Which, to be perfectly honest, is mostly because I am pants-wettingly terrified of them. After I was accidentally forced to see the original Saw in theaters (it’s a long story), I watched Disney movies right before bed and slept with my lights on for at least a full week.

So, if you’re like me and refuse to watch horror movies I’ve got you covered. Here are the top ten non-scary movies I put on my list to watch every October!
